This enclosed laptop magnesium-aluminum alloy casing anodized glass MOPA Fiber Laser Marking Machine was developed at the request of a client who manufactures magnesium-aluminum alloy laptop casings for multiple laptop manufacturers. To prevent rust and fingerprints, these laptop casings undergo anodizing. However, due to the compact internal space of laptops, mounting Cables are often required on the inside of the A, C, and D sides. Therefore, it is necessary to use lasers to precisely peel off specific anodized layers to restore conductivity and mark the installation positions of modules. The product tested by the client in the video is the A side of a 16-inch Acer laptop. The customer previously used Han’s Laser’s model, which took 36 seconds and had a low yield on new products with a thickness of 0.5~0.7mm. To address this, we used a GZTech high-peak MOPA laser with a peak power of over 80kW and an average power of 20W, with a minimum pulse width of 0.2ns. Combined with Justscan’s patented galvanometer with a scanning speed of over 25000mm/s, we achieved high-speed anode breaking in only 17 seconds for the same product. To prevent heat buildup, metal particle contamination of the anode-broken surface, and pollution of the working environment, we used a closed cabinet and equipped it with an air blowing and fume extractor. After testing a few products on-site, the customer was full of praise for the performance, efficiency, and detailed design.
