This scoring machine for instruments such as trumpets, French horns, and trombones was custom-designed for a client who manufactures high-end, customized wind instruments, with the average price of their main products reaching $100,000. In the first half of 2025, the client plans to mark the surface of their anniversary edition instruments with patterns that are even more refined than their existing 3D Laser Marking Machine. Compared to conventional scoring machines, this machine reduces the scoring force to avoid deformation. It utilizes a flexible rotating chuck and height-adjustable V-shaped baffle to achieve precise markings on instruments with varying slopes.
